Blog Post One: What is this blog about?

Hello. Welcome to the blog. I am starting to write this blog for many reasons. First, I have a lot of things to say and I want a way to develop and say them quickly, without needing to dedicate several months or years to a grandiose production. Second, in the world of bite-sized social media, I want a format of expression that contributes to more sanity instead of driving the dopamine hamster wheel. Third, this is a practice of discipline for me to organize and express my thinking through essays. I often write notes to myself about philosophical ideas but I rarely develop or share them. I have a deep appreciation for the power of internet technology and I want to use it to plant idea seeds so that hopefully they can grow to benefit the future.
